My Parisian Patisserie themed Valentine's decor got even more gorgeous this year with the addition of this chocolate Eiffel Tower.

No, this isn't really chocolate. It's actually a thrift flip DIY that's really elevated this vignette.

I always enjoy decorating my kids' rooms for holidays, though I usually keep it pretty subtle when it comes to my son's room.

However, I just couldn't help myself this Christmas. It's such a magical time of year for any kid and I thought, "Why not?!" 

​I put together three small vignettes all with an overall vintage feel that are masculine and still very fun for a child.

When I set out to create a cute little faux topiary for our guest room I had no idea that it was going to turn out so darn perfect.

Take a look at the "dirt". Isn't that amazing?! I originally intended to use moss to cover the bottom. 

I don't know what came over me though. I just started mixing stuff and somehow came up with the perfect artificial dirt. 

I've never been a big decorator for Valentine's Day. But this year I got into it. It all started with one thrifty vase and then I just went nuts with it. 

​Alright, I didn't exactly go over the top, but I did a lot more than I ever thought I would. 

 

While perusing Grandin Road this early fall, I came upon the cutest Woodland Pumpkin Animals. But at $80 a pop they were a little out of budget. 

My fall decor collection really could have used some woodland animals, though. What was I to do? Head to the Dollar Tree, of course!

That's right, I brought these little cuties to life with Styrofoam Dollar Tree pumpkins. And it might not look it, but it was actually pretty easy.
